Movie Review: Dark Moment Season 2 Episode 3, Produced By Converter Adeyemo

Reviewed By Ajibare Abioye
Episode 3 of the second season of “Dark Moment” features a bright ray of hope in a season that has been really dark for Pastor Bayo in particular. After being eventually sentenced to prison, he gets the opportunity at new life, albeit behind bars. He uses this opportunity beyond anyone could have imagined, holding on to what mattered most to him in life – his relationship with God – and extends the love of Jesus to his fellow inmates. This has about a couple of chain reactions in two of his greatest antagonists – Mr Okafor and Moyo.
The tussle between Pastor Rufus and Clifford intensifies in this episode as each one tries to dig out some dirt from the life of the other. It is really sad to see what might be referred to as ‘church politics’ and how it’s being played in a dirty way. Truly, children of God need to examine their foundations to establish whether they truly belong to Christ. This is because if one’s basic weaknesses are not promptly dealt with, they would eventually become a thorn in one’s flesh and more unfortunately, be a source of reproach to the name of the Lord.
The plot progresses meaningfully this episode with the appearance of veteran, Evangelist Abel Martins, and the creator of this series, Converter O. Adeyemo. With the inclusion of their respective former commissioner and governor roles, a new dimension is being brought into the story, and which I believe will be tied to what exists in the season.
The next episode comes out on July 16, 2023 on Converter Movie Production YouTube channel.
